A manufacturer of sweets turned to NEUMAN & ESSER for the grinding of sugar into powdered sugar. He wanted to be able to increase and precisely define the throughput he was achieving with his existing equipment. Previously, the product had been produced in a conventional way, but this resulted in too little throughput. Our impact classifier mill ICM 19, which was initially offered as a small laboratory plant, finally became the permanent solution, as the scaling proved to be suitable. Thus, the throughput could be increased without taking up significantly more space. Conventional technology would have exceeded the space capacities. In total, the collaboration with the sweets manufacturer lasted almost ten years, encompassing the initial tests, further tests, the final test, and the final order. This first project was followed by further orders for a small and two large grinding systems.
