The NEUMAN & ESSER GROUP (NEA GROUP) purchased all Andreas Hofer Hochdrucktechnik GmbH business shares, effective as per November 5, 2015 and assumed all related rights and duties. Since then, HOFER, headquartered in Mülheim an der Ruhr, and its approx. 70 employees have been a member of the NEUMAN & ESSER GROUP.
What advantages result from the acquisition for the customers? The HOFER brand stands for a high-quality and technically excellent product portfolio of diaphragm compressors, high pressure reciprocating compressors and fittings. It is not only true to say that with this product addition NEA now provides a performance range from low pressure up to 5,000 bar from a single source, but new technological concepts arise from this, too.
Thus, work on innovative hybrid solutions is currently in full swing, a combination of leak-free diaphragm technology and NEA crankcases. This intelligent solution will enable NEUMAN & ESSER to respond to the current “Zero Emission” megatrend and to serve new market niches.
End-users of machines are never left to their own devices by the NEA GROUP. That`s why NEAC Compressor Service, the NEA GROUP OEM service provider, assumes the aftermarket support of HOFER compressors for customers in the Oil & Gas segment in Central Europe – an area served by NEAC Compressor Service for more than 25 years for 11 OEM Compressor brands with an extensive range of services.
What does this takeover mean to an operator of a HOFER compressor? It provides a wide array of advantages. Not only can the end-user enjoy access to a globally acting service organization, but he also experiences active and professional aftermarket support which will be performed by trained and certified service technicians for servicing, maintenance, retrofits and repairs to HOFER diaphragm and reciprocating compressors and also by Product Managers as contact persons for improvements and technical solutions. Moreover, NEAC Compressor Service offers the opportunity of a possible incorporation of the HOFER product in existing framework agreements.
